As we know the election is around the corner and we need to let all our neighbors know. April 7th is a big day and we need all the votes we can get. Please offer neighbors a ride to the polling stations if they need it or have them call me and I will do my best to accomodate.

The most important thing is to tell our neighbors and friends, send out emails to everyone you know even if they don’t live in Dardenne Prairie but they may have friends that do. Do we really want to see Fogarty in office again? it is time to make an impact and the decision is in our hands.

I want to reassure you all that I am running for mayor with the intentions of winning. I have some friends and family in politics that have been advising me with a variety of aspects to our campaign. We did some research and determined that name recognition is the key strategy to a successful campaign and since being new to this environment we have to make the right moves and use the right timing. So the next few weeks you will be seeing signs going up and we are looking for supporters that can put signs up in thier yards. Anyone who’s yard backs to a main roadway we would appreciate it if we can put the bigger signs up thier. We are a bit worried about the signs being damaged or removed so we are really needing our supporters to rally together to help us. We have selected 2 locations for a Meet and Greet BBQ. The locations will be made available as soon as the proper paperwork has been processed.

Questions regarding my platform:
Our plan is to secure the city’s finances and focus on the residents needs. This means research all aspects of government sponsored programs to help our residents looking for a variety of assistance. Create tax programs to assist our seniors and veterans. Help families who need child care programs and work with local companies who offer child care and work with special pricing or financial programs. Rebuild our relationships with local surrounding cities to create joint programs that will enhance our daily lives. Work with the state to help bring more attention to our available commercial zoned property. Coming from a large corporate background we feel that we may have the negotiating skills needed to talk to companies wanting to grow, expand or relocate. We also want to work on making our city safe by exploring different avenues regarding policing of the city. We want to begin by using the residents tax dollars for positive programs that will enhance our lives and are achievable.

We are ready to win, and we need your votes. Please be sure to remind your neighbors that election day is April 7 and we need your votes. Call me with any questions and I will do my best to help our city.

I want to give everyone an update on what we have going on and what is coming up.

We are going to have a BBQ on Sunday Feb 22 the location we will be posted on the site. We want to get Rob’s name out and make it an informal informational meet and greet. We feel that it is always nice to be able to sit around and get a real feel for what people have to say and what needs to be done. Rob’s idea is to work for the residents and not himself, our goal is to make changes that impact the people.

We need to focus on helping the residents during these times and find ways to maximize our incomes in as many ways we can. We all look forward to the government stimulus but how much will it help? Many of us have been laid-off or our jobs have eliminated and these are things outside of our control. We feel that we need to help our residents by looking for deals, deals that will help us keep more money in our pockets.

Rob will work with the city staff and the alderman to get residents what they want not what “I” want.

We had a great turn out for our first meet and greet and we were happy to see so much interest.

I am working with my team to seek the best locations for signs and areas that we will be canvasing for our campaign. We are also receiving many calls and emails and we appreciate everyone’s questions and I hope we are answering them quickly enough.

We continue to ask residents for their input regarding our platform and I will be posting it soon for all to review it. I am working with some local business’ that have contributed to our campaign and I want to thank them for their support.

Please continue to support our drive to make Dardenne Prairie a great place to raise our families.

What ideas does he have that are different from what the city already has in the works???

Last night I got a call from someone that was at the Alderman meeting and I could not imagine why a candidate had to go through such embarrassment. The mayor approached him and made very unprofessional statements and threats thinking he would run off but he didn’t. My feeling is that because we have an uneducated and unethical mayor she feels threatened by better qualified candidates and hopes they will run off. Fortunately the candidate was very professional and did not retort to her daunting. He was very cordial closed his conversation with the alderman said goodnight and left. I was amazed that she did it in front of both city attorneys and an alderman. She also made a statement regarding a “blog” and how she would contact her lawyer. But I should have assumed or guessed she has never heard of something known as the “First Amendment”.

I feel that when you hold a political position you are exposing your life to your public. This even includes what happens in your life your home and your bedroom.

Pam Fogarty did WHAT with our money?

So all of our hard earned money that went to pay our taxes basically went right down the drain. Fogarty took $700K to develop a plan that we knew we could not afford. Instead of spending our money in St Louis, we gave it away to an already wealthy company(DPZ) out of Florida. Why did we not use George Butler the original company that we already paid to do the same thing for around $25K. I know many residents that are in the construction business, if they knew what was going on I am sure they would wonder why we are not using local companies and keeping the money here at home. If you do the math you can assume someone was going to make money on the backside. Is this what we have to worry about in the future? Why is no one noticing the excessive waste of money? We have MANY examples of wasted money and these are the questions we should be asking our mayor. But I think the question should be this, where is all of our tax dollars today?

Why we need a New Mayor in Dardenne Prairie.

Has anyone ever sat and talked to Fogarty? Do you ever feel she is in it for the city, or for her self? Stopping construction and having the blueprints re-done because there was NO PRIVATE bathroom in the mayors office. Was this really necessary to put more splurging of residents money in to her OWN needs?
We need to expose her and her wrong doings to the residents. Being a small town she gets to hide a lot more then what we can imagine.
